Logo’s Trans Youth Town Hall, a three-part roundtable series hosted by writer and activist Raquel Willis, puts everyday transgender youth in conversation with noted trans advocates at a pivotal moment for trans equality in the U.S. As Associate Producer, Sam saw the project from inception to rollout, working alongside executive producers to refine the creative, manage the production schedule, and make paper edits for each episode. TYTH is one of Logo’s most successful digital franchises to date, generating hundreds of thousands of views and buzz across the web.
2022 LGBTQ SOTU – logo
As Associate Producer and Lead Writer, Sam collaborated with Angelica Ross (Pose) to script her 2022 LGBTQ State of the Union address for Logo, which tackles everything from transgender representation in media to legislative attacks on trans youth across the country. To date, it is the top-performing installment of the franchise, amassing more than 405k views on YouTube and robust press coverage from outlets like NBC News, Billboard, The Huffington Post, and more.
